Bobcats Split on Day Two of Tusculum Fall Classic

GREENVILLE, TENN. -- The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats lost to the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, 3-1 ( 20-25, 26-24, 23-25, 14-25), and rallied to beat the Mars Hill Lions, 3-1 (23-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-20) on day two of the Tusculum Fall Classic.

The Lady Bobcats were led offensively by sophomore Whitney Kiser, who had 15 kills, and freshman Megan Epperson contributed with 13 kills. Junior Lauren Dickover handed out 22 assists, and senior Natalie Burns had four block assists. Sophomore Kell Bodgan, again had a match high 22 digs, and Tracey Copley added four service aces for the Lady Bobcats.

With the results from Saturday, the Lady Bobcats improve to 3-8 on the year.

The Lady Bobcats next match will be Tuesday, September 16th at 7 p.m. as they travel to Queens University of Charlotte for their first Conference Carolinas match of the season.
