Lady Bobcats Split in Conference Action Over the Weekend

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats won 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-23) over Converse College Friday night and lost 0-3 (12-25, 16-25, 22-25) to Limestone College Saturday afternoon in a pair of Conference Carolinas matches.

In match one Whitney Kiser (Connelly Springs, N.C.) led the Lady Bobcat attack with nine kills and three service aces. Megan Epperson (St. John, Ind.) followed with eight kills and eight digs. Kell Bodgan (Leawood, Kans.) picked up 11 digs and Lauren Dickover (Las Vegas, Nev.) handed out 15 assists for the Lady Bobcats.

In match two Lauren Hall (Enka, N.C.) had seven kills for the Lady Bobcats. Bodgan picked up 14 digs, and Trisha Reese (Hanover, Penn.) dished out 16 assists.

After the weekend the Lady Bobcats are 9-10 overall and 6-2 in the conference.

Their next match is Tuesday, October 7th against Queens University of Charlotte. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Williams Gymnasium.
