    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's volleyball team announced the addition of Kaci Thornton (Lubbock, Texas) Friday afternoon. Thornton is the fourth newcomer that LMC Head Coach William Tatge has signed this offseason as his team preps for the upcoming 2017 season.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's volleyball team announced the signing of Lauren Arnold (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) Friday afternoon. Arnold joins fellow signees Hanna Steckler and Allie Cunningham as the newest Bobcats set to join the team this fall.

    DUE WEST, S.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team battled but fell in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament Tuesday evening to Erskine, 3-0. With the loss, the LMC’s season comes to a close with a record of 11-18, which is a three-win improvement from last season.
  • Five LMC Volleyball players named Academic All-Conference

    HIGH POINT, N.C. – Five Lees-McRae College volleyball players were named to the Academic All-Conference Team the league announced Monday morning. Rachel Cutshaw, Haylee Leonard, Madison Martin, Siarra Walker and Courtney Weathersbee were the five players named to the squad.
  • Bobcats set for Conference Carolinas Quarterfinal matchup at Erskine

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team will return to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Tuesday after a one-year absence. LMC, which finished its regular season with a record of 11-17 overall and 7-9 in conference play, earned the No. 4 seed in the North Division and will take on the top seed in the South Division, Erskine. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

    FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team closed out its regular season with a 3-1 win (25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 25-16) over Emmanuel (GA) Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats improve to 11-17 overall and 7-9 in conference play with the victory.

    DUE WEST, S.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team fell to Erskine Friday night in Conference Carolinas action by a score of 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-19). The Bobcats move to 11-16 overall and 6-9 in conference action.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team picked up its second straight sweep Friday as it knocked off Mount Olive, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-18). The victory marked LMC’s tenth of the season and improves its record in Conference Carolinas action to 6-7.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team held the Pfeiffer Falcons to a hitting percentage of -.089 en route to a 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-18) sweep Tuesday evening at Williams Gymnasium. It was the ninth victory of the season for LMC, which surpasses its win total from the 2015 season.
  • Bobcats host Pfeiffer Tuesday in annual “Dig Pink” match

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team will return to Williams Gymnasium for the final time in the regular season Tuesday when it hosts Pfeiffer at 7 p.m. The contest against the Falcons will also be the team’s annual “Dig Pink” match to help spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness.

    BELMONT, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team fell twice in Belmont, N.C. by identical 3-0 scores to Belmont Abbey and Augusta. With Saturday’s results, the Bobcats’ record moves to 8-15 overall and 4-7 record in conference play.

The win moves LMC’s record to 8-13 overall and 4-6 in league play.

    WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball won the first set of its match against Winston-Salem State Tuesday evening, but the Rams came storming back to defeat the Bobcats, 3-1 (23-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-22). The loss moves the Bobcats’ record to 7-13 on the season.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – Behind 19 kills from Karley Pounds, the Mount Olive Trojans knocked off Lees-McRae in four sets Friday evening (25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18) at Williams Gymnasium. The loss moves LMC’s record to 6-11 overall and 3-5 in conference play, while the Trojans improve to 10-9 overall and 5-5 in league play.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team will host three matches inside Williams Gymnasium this weekend. LMC will begin its weekend with a 7 p.m. match against Mount Olive Friday before closing out the weekend Saturday with tilts against Barton at noon and Winston-Salem at 4 p.m.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – Just 10 days ago, the Lees-McRae College women’s volleyball team dropped a five-set decision to King (Tenn.) University. Saturday, the Bobcats returned the favor at Williams Gymnasium knocking off the Tornado in four (26-24, 26-28, 25-22, 32-30). Junior libero Madison Martin was a major reason for the Bobcats coming out on top as she notched a season-high 30 digs in the victory.
