Lees-McRae Starts Season Seventh in the Southeast Region

NEW ORLEANS, LA-- The Lees-McRae College women's cross country team will begin the 2010 season with a seventh place preseason ranking in the Southeast Region according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason regional rankings that were released Tuesday.

The Bobcats finished the 2009 season in third place, but will enter 2010 in seventh.

Columbus State took the top honors in the poll followed by Queens and Lenoir-Rhyne. Augusta Stat and Anderson completed the poll's top five.
