BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country programs will take part in the Lenoir-Rhyne Classic Friday evening in Newton, N.C. Start time for the races is set for 4 p.m.

Men's Preview – The men's team looks like it may be peaking at the right time with the Conference Carolinas Championship Race just two short weeks away. In their last time out, the trio of Austin Thompson (3rd - 25:46), Joshua Hall (8th - 26:24) and Tristin Bertie (15th - 26:44) all ran times that landed their specific performances into the program's top 20 all-time marks.

Women's Preview – While the women's team did not have any top 20 all-time marks last week in Charlotte, it did have several runners post personal-best times. Jordyn Halvorsen led the way for the group of the Bobcats that did achieve a new personal-best with a time of 20:28. Not far behind Halvorsen were the trio of Maegan Prettyman (24:22), Delaney Colangelo (24:27) and Kaela Kelly (26:50), who also recorded their best collegiate times in the Queen City.
