  • 19 Lees-McRae student-athletes named Fall Academic All-Conference

    GREENVILLE, S.C. – 19 Lees-McRae College student-athletes were recognized for their work in the classroom Wednesday by the league office by receiving Fall Academic All-Conference honors.     BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country programs will be back in action on Friday when they head to Charlotte to compete in the Royals Challenge. The women’s race will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with the men’s race to follow at approximately 5:20 p.m.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – After getting rained out of their last races, the Lees-McRae College cross country programs will be back in action on Friday at the Mountains to Sea Open hosted by Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. The women’s 5k race is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. with the men’s race to follow around 5:30 p.m. Both races will take place at the Don Kennedy Trails in Boone.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country teams will head to Spartanburg, S.C. on Friday to compete in the Eye Opener Invitational. The women’s race will begin at 5:45 p.m. with the men’s race following shortly afterwards.

    GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s cross country team was picked to finish eighth in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Preseason Coaches’ Poll the league office announced on Monday. Additionally, Sarah Bowman, Brianne Heard and Maegan Prettyman were selected as runners to watch for the team this fall.
