Get to know the Lees-McRae Coaches: Cally Morrill (Women's Soccer)

BANNER ELK, N.C. - Throughout the summer, Lees-McRae College will be conducting interviews with a few members of our coaching staff in a summer series we have entitled “Get to know the Lees-McRae Coaches". Each week, a different head coach will sit down with Director of Sports Information Patrick Smith to answer some questions as a way to get to know them outside of their field of competition. This week features Head Women's Soccer Coach Cally Morrill.

Morrill, who also coached the Bobcats from 2010-12, enters her third-consecutive season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Lees-McRae. During a shortened Spring 2021 season, Lees-McRae earned a spot in the Conference Carolinas postseason tournament for the first time since 2017 and defeated No. 5 Belmont Abbey to reach the semifinal round. Under Morrill's tutelage, four Bobcats, including Pali Smith, Alexa Todd, Cami Belin, and Olivia Hoirup, garnered All-Conference Carolinas honors, multiple student-athletes earned both Presidential Honor Roll and Academic All-Conference honors, and Todd was named to the All-Tournament team.
