BELMONT, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer dropped the quarterfinal matchup to Belmont Abbey, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Laura Walker made three early stops in the first five minutes of today's contest. Belmont Abbey finally broke through in the 12th minute after Francesca Highton scored off an assist from Maris Toppin.
- Belmont Abbey entered halftime with a 1-0 lead. The Crusaders tallied three more goals in the second half for the 4-0 win.
- Walker recorded eight saves in goal for the Bobcats. Ezra Carpenter had one shot on goal for Lees-McRae.
