their heels with a half-time score 15-1. The second half brought
new life for the Bobcats who tacked on four more goals making the
final score 19-5. "We really showed what we were made of today by
not letting ourselves get down and giving them a game in the second
half." Said Coach Porter
The second game of the weekend was Saturday on the campus of
Gannon University. The Golden Knights were the 5th Top Ten team of
the season for the Bobcats and they came out and showed why. Gannon
jumped out early and their defending of the Bobcats transition game
was excellent causing the Bobcats to turnover the ball 16 times in
the first half.
In the second half the Bobcats showed improvement on all fronts,
being able to turn the ball over less, hold Gannon to only 6 goals
in the second half while Brittany Dabkowski (Manchester, MD)
tallied the teams only goal of the game off of a Margie Lesser
assist which made the final score 22-1.
Dabkowski who scored one of the five goals on the day before,
maintained her points lead on the team. While Stephanie Jaworski
(West Palm Beach, FL) and Margie Lesser (Manassas, VA) also scored
two goals in the weekend all in the first game. The Bobcats who
will finish their season at home will face Limestone next on
Tuesday April 4th at 4:00pm on Tate Field.
