Lees-McRae College has a very active summer camp program that opens the College’s athletic facilities, as well as residential and dining service accommodations, to camp participants during the summer months in the mountains of northwest North Carolina. The region also features several excellent recreational opportunities for campers while staying on the Lees-McRae campus, which has the highest elevation of any college or university in the Eastern United States.
Men's Basketball Elite Camp

The Lees-McRae Men’s Basketball Elite Camp is designed for high school grades 9–12 who are looking for an opportunity to compete in front of college coaches. This camp provides a competitive environment for players to showcase their skills, basketball IQ, and work ethic while gaining exposure at the collegiate level.
Participants will take part in skill development sessions, competitive drills, and live game play led by the Lees-McRae coaching staff. The camp allows prospective student-athletes to experience the pace and expectations of a collegiate practice while demonstrating their ability in front of coaches actively recruiting for future roster spots.
Men's Lacrosse Prospect Camp

Join the Lees-McRae College Men’s Lacrosse program for our Attack Mountain Prospect Day on August 29 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent, be evaluated by the Bobcat Lacrosse staff, and experience what it takes to be an Lees-McRae lacrosse player. The prospect day is open to student-athletes in the graduating classes of 2027, 2028, 2029.
Participants will experience college-level training led by our coaching staff, take a campus tour, and get a glimpse into a day-in-the-life at Lees-McRae. Parents are welcome to attend the campus tour and observe training sessions. Please note that space is limited.
Softball Prospect Camp

Join the Lees-McRae Women’s Softball program for our Prospect Camp on Monday, Sept. 7. Our prospect camps are intended to give future players a first-hand look at our softball program. This is a great opportunity to experience college-level training directly from the coaching staff and active players. The camp is open to 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 High School graduates and costs $115.
