Lees-McRae College has a very active summer camp program that opens the College’s athletic facilities, as well as residential and dining service accommodations, to camp participants during the summer months in the mountains of northwest North Carolina. The region also features several excellent recreational opportunities for campers while staying on the Lees-McRae campus, which has the highest elevation of any college or university in the Eastern United States.
Men's Basketball Elite Camp

The Lees-McRae Men’s Basketball Elite Camp is designed for high school grades 9–12 who are looking for an opportunity to compete in front of college coaches. This camp provides a competitive environment for players to showcase their skills, basketball IQ, and work ethic while gaining exposure at the collegiate level.
Participants will take part in skill development sessions, competitive drills, and live game play led by the Lees-McRae coaching staff. The camp allows prospective student-athletes to experience the pace and expectations of a collegiate practice while demonstrating their ability in front of coaches actively recruiting for future roster spots.

Campers will experience age appropriate coaching, games, and position-specific coaching.

Women's Soccer Summer Kids Camp
Kids Camp (June 22-26, 2026; July 27-31, 2026)
The Lees-McRae Women’s Soccer program would like to invite boys and girls to our annual recreational summer soccer camp to learn new soccer skills, tricks, and moves from the coaching staff and the women’s soccer team. Campers will experience age appropriate coaching, games, position-specific coaching, theme days, and will receive a free T-shirt. Other activities such as basketball, swimming, kick-ball, etc. are part of the camp experience as well.
