Name, Image and Likeness Policy


Policy Statement:

• In accordance with North Carolina Executive Order Number 223, signed July 2, 2021, Lees-McRae College student-athletes may receive compensation from third parties (but not the College) for use of their Name, Image and Likeness (“NIL”) in endorsements or other NIL activities when they are not engaged in official team activities, and may obtain professional representation to secure name, image and likeness opportunities.
• Lees-McRae College may not provide a student-athlete, or solicit a prospective student-athlete, with compensation for use of their name, image or likeness.
