MISENHEIMER, NC - The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats dropped a
Conference Carolinas contest to rival Pfeiffer University Saturday
afternoon by a score of 20-3. The loss drops the Lady Bobcats to
0-5 on the season, (0-4 Conference Carolinas). The win gives the
Lady Falcons their first conference win of the season, improving to
1-2, (3-2 overall).
Ashley Hill led the Lady Falcons with a game high six goals
while Jamie Livingston registered a hat trick. Elie Fenton, Sarah
Hebberd, Heidi Karaszkiewicz and Kelly McConnell all added a pair
with Krissy Bentolila, Jessica Moulton and Amanda Smith rounding
out the scoring with singles.
Desiree Cox (Hendersonville, TN) scored her 13th and 14th goals
of the season for the Lady Bobcats while Julia Campbell (Black
Mountain, NC) added the other tally for the visitors.
The Lady Bobcats will look to get into the win column with a
pair of games on their spring break trip to Florida this weekend.
Friday, March 7th the Lady Bobcats will face Rollins College and
take on Bryant University Sunday afternoon. After opening the
season with seven straight road games the Lady Bobcats will spend
the second half of the schedule at home with seven of their eight
remaining games at Tate Field.
