Lady Bobcats Enjoy 15 top Ten Finishes at 2010 Mountaineer Indoor Open

BOONE, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College women's track and field team had their best showing at the 2010 Mountaineer Indoor Open Track Meet on Friday with 15 top ten finishes.

The best finish of the day came in the 4x400 women's relay where the Lady Bobcat finished 3rd with a time of 4:44.56. The four members making up the team were Rayne Delutis, Iesha Poindexter, Erin Tyler and Kayleen Earwood.

Tyler also had the best individual finishes for Lees-McRae with a third place finish in the 4x400 relay, a fourth place finish in the long jump with a distance of 4.86 meters, a fourth place finish in the 300m with a time of 46.73 and a sixth place finish in the 55 hurdles with a time of 9.40.

Genay Miller was the only other Lady Bobcat to place in the top ten in two events. She finished sixth in the weight throw with a distance of 12.03m and eighth in the shot put with a distance of 10.02 meters.
