Women's Throws Squad Leads Track Team in Alonzo Clark Memorial Meet

BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae women's track team started the outdoor track and field season in the Alonzo Clark Memorial Meet Saturday afternoon.

Jamara Cook and Crystal Bass paced the Lady Bobcats with wins in the discus and shot put. Cook had had a distance of 103'06" in the discus, and Bass had a distance 10.46m in the shot put.

Iesha Poindexter won the 100m dash with a time of 13.45.
