BANNER ELK, N.C. --- With 4:34 remaining in the
first half, today's NCAA Division II women's lacrosse game between
No. 7 West Chester University and Lees-McRae College was halted and
not resumed due to dangerous weather conditions. At the time play
was halted, West Chester held a 15-1 lead. Per NCAA rule, the game
is declared a no-contest, neither team earns a result, and any
accumulated statistics do not count towards season totals.
Lees-McRae returns to action on Saturday when the Bobcats host
Newberry College in non-conference play at 4 p.m. on Tate
Field.
