Ethan Gardner finished with 10 kills and a game-high .643 hitting percentage, but it was not enough as North Greenville finished with a 39-25 edge in kills to claim the straight-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas contest this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gardner also chipped in three block assists, while Max Kuntz chipped in five kills.
- Riley Chapman added 22 set assists and a team-high six digs.
- Lees-McRae and North Greenville traded leads early in the first set, until the Crusaders grabbed momentum with a 15-3 run and tallied a final kill to claim a 25-13 win in the first set.
- North Greenville finished with a .458 hitting percentage and 13 kills in set two to claim the frame, 25-15.
- After finding themselves down 23-16 in the third set, the Bobcats scored four-consecutive points to trim the deficit to 23-20.
- The Crusaders scored the next two points on kills to secure the conference win.
- North Greenville held a slim 6-3 edge in blocks and 20-19 advantage in digs.
FOR THE FOES:
- Jackson Gilbert posted a game-high 13 kills to go along with two aces to pace the Crusaders.
- Sergio Carrillo tallied 32 set assists and eight digs.
