BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae men's tennis team won all seven matches (two doubles and five singles competitions) that they competed in en route to posting a 6-1 victory over visiting North Greenville in the team's home opener this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Jofre Tura-Campalans and Landon Church teamed up to claim a 6-3 victory in the #1 double match, before Miodrag Popovic and Hanqing Wang clinched a 6-3 win in the #2 doubles competition.
- Tura-Campalans won the #1 singles match with a 6-1, 6-2 score, while Wang posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the #2 singles spot.
- Popovic and Church clinched the #3 (6-3,6-2) and #4 singles matches (6-3, 3-6, 10-7) respectively, while Matt Meluch won the #5 singles match with a 7-6, 7-6 score.
