BANNER ELK, N.C. –
Jofre Tura-Campalans claimed a victory in the #1 singles match, but it was not enough as Belmont Abbey swept the doubles competition and claimed four wins in singles action to clinch a 5-1 victory over the host Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas action this morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tura-Campalans won the #1 singles competition with a 7-5, 6-4 score for the Bobcats' only victory of the dual match.
- Both doubles teams of Tura-Campalans and Landon Church, as well as Miodrag Popovic and Hanqing Wang, battled in their respective matches before ultimately falling to their opponents.

The Bobcats will close out the regular season next Friday as they host Southern Wesleyan at 12 p.m.
