Zai Fraser finished 15th in the triple jump competition at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships this afternoon at the Grand Valley State Track & Field Stadium in Allendale, Michigan.

NOTABLES:
- Fraser posted a mark of 11.92 meters in her first appearance at the national meet, which ranked fifth amongst freshman in the competition, to finish 15th overall.
- The freshman closes out her first year in Banner Elk as the champion in the triple jump at both the Conference Carolinas Indoor and Outdoor Championships to become one of only five student-athletes to represent the conference on the national stage.
- Fraser also garnered USTFCCCA NCAA Division II all-region honors for both the indoor and outdoor season.
- Taylor Nelloms of West Texas A&M captured the triple jump title with a mark of 13.29 meters.
NOTABLES:
- Zai Fraser became the first Bobcat to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships since Britney Augustin finished as the top freshman in the country in the 400-meter hurdles in 2019.
