BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae Director of Cycling
Tim Hall announced the sixth member of the 2023 recruiting class for the men's cycling program with the signing of student-athlete Spencer Gibson.
Gibson comes to Banner Elk from Lyndeborough, New Hampshire where he raced with the Hillsborough Hawks in the New England Youth Cycling circuit.
"I chose Lees-McRae because they have a great cycling team and the location of Banner Elk will allow me to do all the outdoor activities I enjoy," said Gibson.
Gibson intends to study Business at Lees-McRae and plans to race the disciplines of Cross Country and Cyclocross for the Bobcats.
