BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. – The Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams were back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Montreat College Open. The Bobcat men placed fourth overall with 21 points while the women's team finished in seventh in the two-day meet.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Max Geckler earned a third-place finish in the 10,000 Meter Run with a time of 33:00.29 and Landon Cromer placed seventh with a time of 33:57.31 on Friday.
- Joshua Ehresman elevated his school record in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 13.83 meters and recorded a third-place finish.
- Colin Henry and Isaac Reyna ran a solid race in the 5,000 Meter Run on Friday with Henry having a time of 16:11.32 and Reyna finishing in 16:16.17.
- On Saturday, Christian Bargaineer raced to second place in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.03.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Campbell Dille clocked in at a time of 5:05.55 in the Women's 1500 Meter Run on Friday night and collected an eighth place finish. Maddie Quinn followed in 11th place with a time of 5:09.41.
- Devon Davis had a throw of 35.82m in the Discus Throw and placed sixth for Lees-McRae.
