GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's cross country Redshirt Junior
Josh Brett was recognized as the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after leading the Bobcats at App State's Firetower Project Run.
Brett, a St. Augustine, Florida native, posted a time of 26:09.2 at App State and placed 33rd individually for the Bobcats. Brett turned in a top 25 all-time performance in the 8K distance for Lees-McRae. Brett also earned league honors on September 22 for his time at the Chanticleer Challenge.
Lees-McRae cross country returns to action on Saturday, October 11 at the University of Alabama Huntsville XC Invite at 9 a.m.
