CONWAY, S.C. -- Josh Brett led the Lees-McRae men's cross country team on Friday evening at the Chanticleer Challenge, hosted by Coastal Carolina University. Brett placed 18th with a time of 24:57.69 in the 8K distance.

NOTABLES:
- Brett turned in a time of 24:57.69 and placed 18th out of 78 runners this evening. Isaac Reyna followed with a time of 26:08.84 and took 40th individually.
- Domenic Bruzzo-Morello claimed 45th individually with a time of 26:43.89 in the 8K distance and Jackson Olsen placed 59th with a time of 28:08.94.
- Declan Conner, Jordan Cates, and Conner Frizzell rounded out the Lees-McRae men's cross country in tonight's Chanticleer Challenge in Conway, South Carolina.
- Richmond took the team title with 29 points and Coastal Carolina's Adam Groves collected first place with a time of 23:28.27.
