BOONE, N.C. -- Megan Knapp was the first non-Division I runner to cross the finish line this evening at the Fire Tower Project, hosted by App State. Knapp had the sixth-fastest time in program history with a time of 22:25.7.

NOTABLES:
- In the Bobcats' first 6K race of the season, Lees-McRae placed 10th of 14 teams and Knapp led the Bobcats with an individual finish of 27th.
- Rebecca Kleiber followed with a time of 24:56.7 and Ari Redies placed 88th with a time of 25:45.3.
- Veronica Cheechov turned in a time of 26:04.6 for 91st individually. Julia Wasilco and Emily Lewis rounded out the Bobcats with times of 27:46.1 and 29:34.5 in the 6K distance.
