BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's cycling, under Director of Cycling/Head Coach
Tim Hall, released its 2026 mountain bike schedule. The Bobcats will compete in five mountain bike races, including hosting a meet in Banner Elk.
Lees-McRae will begin the season traveling to Truett McConnell University on August 29-30. This is the third straight year the Bobcats have opened up the season in Cleveland, GA. The following weekend the Bobcats will head to Columbia, Ky for the Lindsey Wilson meet on September 5-6. Lees-McRae will close out the regular season hosting their own Collegiate MTB Challenge on Sepetmber 19-20. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Lees-McRae has hosted a regular season mountain bike meet.
The SECCC Championships will begin Saturday, September 26 through Sunday, September 27 all day in Ride Rock Creek, N.C. Lees-McRae will close out the fall season with a trip to Grand Junction, Colo. for the USA Cycling MTB Nationals, October 7 through October 11.
