2019-20 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Popovic posted a 9-4 record in singles action to go along with a 4-9 ledger in doubles play...Popovic mainly saw time playing from the No. 4 singles spot for the Bobcats and came away with a record of 6-4 in such matches...In doubles, Popovic teamed with Hanquing Wang and usually matched up with other school's top doubles pairing. The pair of sophomores went 3-9 in those matches. 

2018-19 Season (Freshman) - Popovic played at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles predominantly during his rookie season...He totaled four doubles wins and finished second on the team in singles wins with eight...He and Fitzgerald Lomp earned a 6-2 victory at UVA-Wise (Oct. 21), before they defeated Johnson C. Smith 7-6 on Feb. 24...The two earned a 6-4 win over Wayne State on Mar. 11, before picking up a 6-3 win over Bluefield College (Va.) on Apr. 11...Popovic earned his first singles win at UVA-Wise on Oct. 21 6-0, 6-1, before winning two in a row over Milligan and Johnson C. Smith (Feb. 23-24)...His next singles win would come against the University of Scranton on Mar. 11, before he picked up wins against Southwestern College (Kan.) and Southern Virginia (Mar. 12-13)...He earned a conference win over Southern Wesleyan on Apr. 6, before defeating his Bluefield College (Va.) opponent 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 on Apr. 11.
