2019 Season (Junior) - Bertie had a stellar junior season in 2019...Bertie earned Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on two different occassions in 2019...Bertie logged two top 20 all-time times in program history as a junior as well...His top time was at the Royals Challenge in mid-October where he posted a time of 26:00.3, which is the fifth-fastest time in the history of the program...Bertie ran to an eighth place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championships, which garnered him a place on the All-Conference Carolinas Second Team...Bertie also ran at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships where he posted at time of 35:29.0 in the 10k race.

2018 Season (Sophomore) - In his second season as a Bobcat, Bertie showed definite improvement...The Cleveland, Georgia native logged two times in 2018 that rank within the program's top 20 all-time marks...One of those top 20 times came at the Conference Carolinas Championships where Bertie ran the 8k course in 26:43.8...With that time, Bertie was named to the All-Conference Carolinas Third Team...For his efforts in 2018, Bertie along with his teammates were invited to race in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships where he ran a time of 34:42.0 for a 68th place finish. 

2017 Season (Freshman) - Bertie raced six times for the Bobcats during his first collegiate season in 2017...Bertie's best finish of his freshman campaign came at the league championship meet as he finished 20th with a time of 27:36.5 in a 10k race...The Cleveland, Georgia native also took part in the NCAA Southeast Regional Race finishing 78th with a time of 35:15.1.
