2019-20 Season (Junior) - Sparks appeared in nine events over the course of the mountain bike, cyclocross and road seasons as a junior in 2019-20...Won the XC race at the Volunteer MTB Weekend in early September...Also won the NCCX 2019 #7 Sanford race...Overall, logged 14 top 10 finishes on the season...At the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals Sparks competed in the XC and STXC events...Placed 12th and 13th in the two events, respectively. 

2018-19 Season (Sophomore) - Sparks competed in five events during his sophomore mountain bike season...Was part of a third-place relay team, finished 20th in the A short track event, took 12th in the B dual slalom event and finished 12th in the A cross-country event at King University (Tenn.) (Sept. 1-2)...Finished 17th in the A cross-country event and also finished seventh in the A short track event at Brevard (Sept. 8-9)...Took fifth in both the A cross-country event and the A short track event at the High Country Collegiate MTB Challenge (Sept. 22-23)...Finished sixth in the A cross-country event at Union College (Sept. 29-30)...Took 22nd in the short track event and was also part of a sixth-place relay team at Collegiate MTB Nationals (Oct. 19-21)...Sparks also participated in three cyclocross races as a sophomore...Finished fifth in the A race at King University (Tenn.) (Nov. 10)...Led the men with a fifth-place finish at the SECCC Cyclocross Championships at Warren Wilson (Dec. 1)...Finished 16th in the men's race while also being part of a sixth-place relay team at Collegiate Cyclocross Nationals (Dec. 13-15)...Also participated in one road race event as a sophomore...Finished 23rd in the A road race at the SEECCC Road Championships (Apr. 6-7).
