Maddison Beck began her first season as the Assistant Coach of the Lees-McRae Cheerleading team in the fall of 2022. While her role as the Director of Campus Recreation was what initially brought her to Lees-McRae, her background and love for cheerleading gave her the opportunity to coach the team. 
 
Maddison graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University where she was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading team as well as Phi Mu Sorority. During her time cheering at Tarleton State, she was a part of school history by being on the first All-Girl team to compete at NCA College Nationals in Daytona, Florida. Senior year she had the opportunity to intern underneath the Head Cheerleading Coach, learning how to be an effective leader. 
 
After graduation she went on to become a Flight Attendant and traveled the world for a few years. In 2019 she got certified as a Personal Trainer through NASM and returned back into the world of athletics by leading her own personal training business in Boca Raton, Florida. 
 
Maddison is excited to grow as a coach underneath the direction of Sally Wimberley and knows that together they will lead the team to great successes.
