2019-20 Season (Junior) - Layde competed in 10 meets during her first season with Lees-McRae in 2019-20...She made her Bobcat debut on Oct. 4-5 at King's Early Season Invitational...Layde logged nine personal-best times in 2019-20 in a variety of different events...Layde won several individual events throughout her junior campaign...The highlight of her first season with Lees-McRae was her performance at the Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships...She broke the Conference Carolinas Record in the 1,000y free with a time of 10:36.08 and in doing so became the program's first-ever Conference Carolinas Champion...She was also the conference champion in the 1,650y free as well...She was also a finalist in the 500y free where she earned All-Conference Carolinas Second Team honors.
