2019-20 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Allen logged a 2-10 record in singles play and a 4-9 mark in doubles action in 2019-20...Allen, who played mostly out of the No. 1 singles spot for the Bobcats, went 1-10 from that position and went 1-0 out of the No. 4 spot as well...In doubles, Allen mainly teamed with Nursharneem Shamsuddin in the No. 1 spot and the duo went 2-6...Allen also teamed with Mei Hirmatsu and went a combined 1-3 and also took part in one doubles contest with Tessa Wells and came away with the victory.
2018-19 Season (Sophomore) - Allen played at No. 1 in both singles and doubles as a sophomore...She collected 16 wins in doubles play and also nine singles wins...Her non-conference doubles wins came over Mars Hill (Sept. 29), Warren Wilson (Feb. 9), Milligan (Feb. 23), the University of Scranton (Mar. 11), Southwestern College (Kan.) (Mar. 12), Mount Holyoke (Mar. 12) and Wheaton College (Mar. 15)...Wins in doubles play in conference came against Erskine (Mar. 22), Converse (Mar. 25), Belmont Abbey (Mar. 29), Southern Wesleyan (Apr. 6), King (Tenn.) (Apr. 10), Chowan (Apr. 14) and Barton (Apr. 15)...She was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 4-10...Academically, she was named to the Conference Carolinas Fall Presidential Honor Roll for the second straight year.
2017-18 Season (Freshman) - Sandy Allen made a definite impact for the Bobcats during her first season in Banner Elk...The Saint Johns, Florida native played all of her matches from the No. 1 singles and doubles positions...Went 8-7 in singles play and 5-10 in doubles...Was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week on February 28...Picked up her first collegiate victories against Converse on February 24...Academically, Allen was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll after her freshman season.
