The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats volleyball team hosted
Belmont Abbey College in a Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference
match up Wednesday evening, defeating the Lady Crusaders 3-0,
(30-19, 30-10, and 30-14), for their seventh straight win. The win
improves the Lady Bobcats to 24-7, (16-2 CVAC).
Preseason AVCA All American Lacie Smith led a dominating Lady
Bobcats performance with twelve kills and six digs while Katie
Marie Legg added ten kills and four solo blocks. Trisha Reese and
Lauren Dickover put up 21 and 15 assists respectively. Reese
(pictured) also added three service aces.
The Lady Bobcats will host Converse College in CVAC play
Wednesday October 26 at 7:00pm.
