The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats volleyball team continued
its winning ways earning their fourth straight win by sweep, 30-19,
30-22, and 30-16 over Belmont Abbey. The win improves the Lady
Bobcats Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference record to 5-1 and
13-6 overall.
Preseason AVCA All American Lacie Smith had a double double to
lead the Lady Bobcats, hitting a blistering .368 with a match high
18 kills and 13 digs. Defensively, Dani Usedom led the Lady
Bobcats with a match high 15 digs. The Lady Bobcats held Abbey to
.069 hitting percentage in the match.
The Lady Bobcats will be home to Queens University Wednesday
September 27th. Game time is set for 6:30p.m.
