12. What is one word that describes you and
why? Determined; once I set my mind to doing something I
will make sure that it gets done and try my best to do the best
that I possibly can.
Christine's Story… I've played soccer
since I was five. I went to Bryan Adams High School where I was
part of National Honor Society (President senior year), PAL's (Peer
Assistance and Leadership), played four years on the varsity soccer
and golf teams, and was part of the cross country team two years. I
was captain of high school soccer team for three out of four years,
led the team to four district championships and was named MVP in
2004-2005. I graduated in the top ten percent of my class and was
awarded one of the highest awards from the high school called the
Gold Cougar. I was recruited for soccer at Lees-McRae College and
ended up choosing to come for the Naturalist Studies program. When
I came to visit I loved the mountains. So I chose to continue my
education and soccer career at Lees-McRae College. I am very happy
that I chose this school and am looking forward to my last two
years of college .
