ANDERSON, S.C. - The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats fell to the
Anderson University Lady Trojans 3-0 (22-25, 23-25, 20-25) Saturday
in a Conference Carolinas volleyball match.
Whitney Kiser (Connelly Springs, N.C.) led the Lady Bobcat
attack with 10 kills and two total blocks. Megan Epperson (St.
John, Ind.) contributed with nine kills and 14 digs, and Kell
Bodgan (Leawood, Kan.) picked up 18 digs. Lindsay Brant (Orlando,
Fla.) picked up 12 digs. Lauren Dickover (Las Vegas, Nev.) handed
out 15 assists, and Trisha Reese (Hanover, Penn.) dished out 11
assists.
Ashley Prince had nine kills for the Lady Trojans. Amanda Edwards
and Jamie Lancaster had seven kills. Lindsay Doggett had 31
assists. Adria Mullaney had 10 digs and five service aces, and
Katie Rich had seven digs.
With the loss the Lady Bobcats fall to 12-3 overvall and 11-3 in
the conference, while the Lady Trojans improve to 15-11 overall and
10-2 in the conference.
The Lady Bobcats' next match is Wednesday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at
Belmont Abbey College.
