BANNER ELK, N.C.-The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats fell to the
Limestone College Lady Saints 2-0 in a conference match at Tate
Field Tuesday night despite Brittany Bolton's five saves.
After a scoreless first half, the Lady Saints scored in the 53rd
minute when Madi Dulisee was left wide open in the box and picked
up a loose ball off a blocked shot for goal.
Bekki Hagarman made it 2-0 in the 64th minute when she received
a through pass from Ash Alderion-Fleagle for the goal.
The Lady Saints outshot the Lady Bobcats 11-7 and had seven
shots on goal compared to the Lady Bobcats' two. With the win
Limestone improves to 3-4 (4-8 overall) while Lees-McRae drops to
2-4 (8-4 overall).
The Lady Bobcats next match is Friday, October 10th at 7 p.m.
against the Mt. Olive College Lady Trojans at Tate Field.
