BELMONT, NC--The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats fell to 0-4, (0-3
Conference Carolinas) Sunday afternoon with a 17-0 loss to Belmont
Abbey College in Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse action. The
Abbey improves to 2-0 on the season with the win.
Brianna Dignan led the attack for Abbey with six goals, while
Stephanie Schwartz registered a hat trick for the winners and
Kristyn Kinsey and Shannon Farden netted a pair. Tara Chmil,
Laurie Jordan, Rhegan Flanigan and Stacey Foley rounded out the
Abbey scoring with singles.
In goal for the Lady Bobcats, Olivia Maurey made 11 saves.
The Lady Bobcats will open their home schedule in their next
contest, with Wilmington (DE) visiting Tate Field next Friday
afternoon. Game time is set for 3:00pm.
