BANNER ELK, NC - The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats dropped to 1-13
(0-9 Conference Carolinas) Saturday afternoon, falling 22-9 to the
visiting Queens University of Charlotte in Conference Carolinas
play. Queens improves to 10-5 (6-3) for the season.
Amanda Martin scored a game high four goals and added an assist
while teammate Kelley Duffey added a hat trick in both goals and
assists for a six point performance. Carolynn Loan, Amanda Mahle,
Kelly Wrightson, Alyssa Hughes, and Carolyn Parsons all added a
pair of goals for the visitors while five others added singles.
Desiree Cox led the Lady Bobcats with a game high six goals
while Clair Shaw added a pair and Abby White a single.
The Lady Bobcats will wrap up their regular season Monday
afternoon at 4:00pm when Conference Carolinas rival Pfeiffer
University visits Tate Field.
