BANNER ELK, NC - The Queens University of Charlotte Royals
defeated the Lees-McRae College Bobcats 7-3 Saturday afternoon in
Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse action at Tate Field. The

conference play, (0-4), and sit at 2-7 on the season.
The Royals jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by the five minute
mark of the first quarter and never looked back. While the Bobcats
tightened up defensively, so did the Royals, holding the Bobcats to
just three goals, their best defensive performance of the
season.

Jones, Louie Boyle, Brian Lipscomb, Alex Warehime and Travis Speer
chipped in singles.
Matt Markey led the Bobcats with a pair of goals while Madison
Thompson rounded out the scoring.

his career high, while Tyler Rauch recorded 12 in the Royals
net.
The Bobcats will be back in action this week, hosting Greensboro
College Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference showdown. Game time
is set for 3:30pm at Tate Field.
