BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College women's soccer team is
ranked in the top 50 three individual and one team NCAA statistical
category.
Midfielder Vickie Rich is ranked in three categories, points per
game, goals per game and goals in a single game. She is ranked
13th in goals per game with 11 goals in ten games with a 1.100
average, and ranked 19th in points per game with 11 goals and two
assists in ten games for an average of 2.40 points per game. Rich
is also tied for third in goals in a single game. She scored three
goals against Coker on September 26th.
Aerial Gregston also scored three goals in the Coker match and
is tied for third, along with injured teammate, Melissa Horn, who
scored three goals against Brevard on September 1st. Gregston is
also tied for third with eight points in a single game; she had
three goals and two assists in the Coker match.
As a team, the Bobcats rank 39th in scoring offense with 2.60
goals per game.
