DUE WEST, S.C. - The Conference Carolinas Regular Season
Champions, the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats, defeated the
Erskine College Flying Fleet 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-10) on Luana
Rocha's 18 digs and eight service aces including five in the final
set.
Rocha serve the final three points of the match to earn the win
for the Lady Bobcats.
Offensively, Megan Epperson had 14 kills and Whitney Justice had
eight kills. Megan Mitchell handed out 26 assists in the match.
Justice also four block assists, and Katie-Marie Legg had two solo
blocks and two block assists. As a team, the Lady Bobcats had nine
total blocks.
Lees-McRae will begin the Conference Carolinas Tournament
Tuesday as the first seed and will host eight seed St. Andrews
Tuesday night in Williams Gymnasium at 6:30 p.m.
