CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Freshman outside hitter, Taylor Clendenin, had
12 kills as the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats defeated the Queens
University of Charlotte Lady Royals 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-22) in
Conference Carolinas volleyball action.
With the win, Lees-McRae improves to 11-4 overall and 6-1 in the
conference, while Queens slips to 5-12 overall and 1-6 in the
conference.
Clendenin was the only player in the match to reach double
digit kills. She also led the team with three service
aces. Megan Epperson followed with seven
kills. Megan Mitchell led the Lady Bobcats with 35
assists. Luana Rocha had a match-high 17
digs.
Lees-McRae returns to the hardwood Friday, October 2nd at 7
p.m. against Erskine to start the Homecoming weekend.
