GAFFNEY, S.C. - The No. 46 Lees-McRae College tennis team took
down Conference Carolinas opponent Limestone, 7-2, Tuesday
afternoon.
The Lady Bobcats picked up two early wins in doubles behind
their two and three doubles teams. At two doubles, Gabriela Celi
and Lyndsay Pegram won 8-2 and at three doubles Maria Andrade and
Renee Roberson won 8-0.
In singles, Lees-McRae won five of the six matches to earn the
7-2. None of the singles matches went three sets for the Lady
Bobcats with Cameron Joyce and Roberson winning 6-0, 6-0 in their
five and six spots. At three doubles, Pegram won 6-4, 6-4 to
clinch the match for the Lady Bobcats.
