SUMTER, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis improved to 3-0 on the season with the 6-3 win over USC Sumter today at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats captured two of the three doubles matches and led 2-1. Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout collected the 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. Alexa Mazzei and Pati Vedia Sanchez won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles.
- Sanchez registered the 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Mazzei followed with a straight-set 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles over Mila Salazar.
- Brothers collected the 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles.
- Saqout tallied the three-set win over USC Sumter's Martina Aviles, 6-1, 5-7, 6-1.
