GAFFNEY, S.C.- The Lees-McRae College men's volleyball team won
their fifth straight game in a 3-1 (30-25, 27-30, 30-25, 30-27) win
over Limestone to improve to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the Conference
Carolinas.
Juan Ramirez had a game-high 44 assists for Lees-McRae. Chad
Mercado recorded 19 kills with Robbie Rowe and Raphael Vieira
contributing 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
Limestone was led by Kevin Hart's 20 kills. Mikee DeJager posted
13 kills as Scott Schweihofer had 10. Andrew Pile tallied team-high
32 assists to go along with 3 aces and 6 digs. Josh Sullivan
chipped in 18 assists while Danny Gruszczyk had 9 digs.
The Bobcats will host UNC-Charlotte in an exhibition match on
March 13th and will return to NCAA competition on March 16th when
they travel to Eastern Mennonite.
