BANNER ELK, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae women's tennis team fell to Limestone, 9-0, in Conference Carolinas action Sunday afternoon at the LMC Tennis Courts in Banner Elk, N.C.
The Saints (9-5, 8-0 CC) remain perfect in conference play while all six players earned a pair of wins each. The Bobcats fall to 4-12, 2-6 with the loss.
Caroline Green (Columbia, Tenn.) and Amanda Chapman (Sunderland, Md.) dropped a tight battle at No. 2 doubles, 8-6, to Kayla Meermans and Hannah Hopkins.
LMC welcomes Belmont Abbey for a crucial Conference Carolinas match Wednesday, April 15 at 2 p.m. Both teams are tied for the final spot in the CC Women's Tennis Tournament.
