BANNER ELK, N.C. --- Freshman Sarah Tucker went a perfect 3-for-3 in game two while Amanda Decker and Tori Wright capped off their careers, but the Lees-McRae softball fell in a doubleheader to Pfeiffer Tuesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action at LMC Softball Field in Banner Elk, N.C.

The Falcons (23-21, 10-9 CC) had a trio of players with multi-hit games, led by Lindsey Russell's three-hit day.
The Bobcats (6-39, 1-16) saw sophomore Sarah Stallings (Greensboro, N.C.) finish second in the conference with 29 stolen bases.
PU took advantage of four hits and a bases loaded hit batsmen to put up three runs in the second.
Rebecca Foil plated the game's first run with an infield single before Sadie Saine roped a run-scoring single to left two batters later.
Jaclyn Boever earned the RBI the tough way when she got plunked with the bases loaded.
Sophomore Charlie Dutton (Monroe, Ga.) helped her own cause with an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth before Wright's (Blowing Rock, N.C.) sacrifice fly cut the deficit to one, 3-2.
Dutton (3-18) struck out five in seven innings of work and finished with 105 on the season; second best in the conference.
PU's Abigail Peck cleared the bases with an RBI single and LMC error in the top of the fifth to push the lead to four, 6-2.
Sophomore Valerie Hickey (Umatilla, Fla.) lofted a sacrifice fly to center, allowing Stallings to score in the bottom of the frame.
Stallings doubled with one out before stealing third.
The Falcons' Sydney Poole (8-6) scattered six hits with five strikeouts in the complete game effort.

The Falcons (24-21, 11-9) secured the No. 5 seed in the Conference Carolinas Softball Tournament behind a three-hit game from Rachel Crowder.
The Bobcats (6-40, 1-17) enjoyed Sarah Tucker's (Monroe, N.C.) perfect performance at the dish while Taylor Billings (Sophia, N.C.) struck out five in seven innings.
PU took advantage of a pair of LMC errors on the same play, allowing Jessica Jackson to reach second with two outs.
Russell delivered an RBI single while PU led 1-0 after half an inning of action.
Crowder unloaded on her eighth blast of the year in the top of the fourth, 2-0.
PU made it 3-0 in the fifth, but LMC's Hickey drove in freshman Teresa Dickson (Lexington, N.C.) to cut the deficit to two, 3-1.
Consecutive doubles to lead off the seventh allowed PU to extend the lead to three, 4-1, before Crowder tallied an RBI single two batters later.
Coach Merritt Yackey pulled Decker (Apex, N.C.) and Wright with two outs in the seventh, allowing the seniors to receive a round of applause from the crowd, while both played their final collegiate game.
