BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's soccer team fell to North Greenville University by a score of 4-0 Wednesday evening at Tate Field.

The Crusaders began Wednesday's matchup with three goals within a 15-minute window in the first half. NGU's Megan Biehl netted two of those goals, while Abby Robinson picked up the third. The Crusaders added another goal in the final minute of play in the second half to close out the 4-0 victory over Lees-McRae.

Lees-McRae totaled six shots against North Greenville with three being on net. Corby Bailey accounted for two of these attempts, while Amanda Lubkemann notched the other shot on goal. Maddy Klein, Hope Sanborn and Cassandra Gregg also attempted shots in the contest.

Makayla Willets was the starting goalkeeper for the Bobcats on Wednesday. Willets, who played all 90 minutes in net, made nine saves in the match, which was one shy of her career high.
