Bobcats wrap up races in the queen city

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country programs competed at the Queen City Invitational on Friday afternoon in Charlotte.

The women were once again led by Deanna Betzer who ran a time of 21:42. She was trailed by Katherine Sandoval who finished second on the squad, finishing with a time of 23:48. 

Tristin Bertie paced the men's team with a time of 26:50, which was good enough for 56th out of the 332 that competed. Joshua Hall would be the next Bobcat to finish with a time of 27:48.

The Bobcats will be back in action on October 11th when they travel to Charlotte to compete in the Royals Challenge.
