THE BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Green – 1, White – 1
LOCATION: Lees-McRae Practice Fields – Banner Elk, N.C.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both teams matched each other in the opening 25 minutes, with each team having a few missed chances, as the score remained 0-0 at the halftime whistle.
- The Green Team finally broke the deadlock in the opening minutes of the second half as Hedberg took a pass from sophomore Stephon Davis off the free kick and buried the one-timer to give his team the 1-0 advantage.
- The White Team returned the favor and evened the score with less than two minutes remaining as Aliam collected a cross from senior Donovan Branch and rocketed a shot past the goalkeeper to even the score at 1-1.
- Both had teams had a final chance to recapture the win, but the goalkeepers David Bravo (White) and Joshua Date (Green) held strong to preserve the tie.

Lees-McRae will return to the field for its final Green & White scrimmage on Friday, Nov. 6. Kick-off will be at 4:00 p.m.
